It’s been a crazy afternoon here at the Pace home.

I had the grand kids over today and oh my goodness, they just about wore me out. Mabel took Marian to pick up her new glasses today and I watched the kiddies.

I must be getting too old for this kind of stuff, they really are a busy bunch.

Well, the internet guy called me and let me know that my new blog was all ready to go and that I should do a post.

“A post?”, I  said, “what in the hell are you thinking, I can’t carry no post, let alone set one. I have been retired for over 20 years.”

He just laughed and explained that writing in my blog is the same as doing a post. Crazy kids these days, now he’s got to be the one who is all messed up.

Where I came from a post was made out of wood or metal and was used to hold a fence up. Nowadays a post is a prissy note you type on the internet.

Hmm… I guess I’m going to be doing a lot more of this posting stuff.

Well, that’s enough for now. Mabel wants to go to bed and she snores, so I better get up there and get to sleep so she doesn’t keep me awake all night.
